I gotta admit, I'm not happy with my fic. I liked my idea but couldn't seem to really get it on paper. *grumbles* Plus, the damn maximum word count once again made me despair. I'M TOO DAMN WORDY. First draft was about 1,100 words...which isn't much (for me) but is a bit of a problem when the maximum allowed word count is 800. *facepalm*

Oh well.

I'm expecting to be voted off this time around, but that's okay. I came this far, and there are other really good authors still in the competiton, so there'll be more great stories to read in future rounds. Win-win, right? :D
