As you might remember, I posted little gremlin helpers *g* to help me keep track of the four - count 'em: FOUR! - writing commitments I have.

There's the ncis_ficathon, due in mid-August.

There's the xf_bigbang, due on September 10th.

There's the kink_bigbang, due on September 15th.

There's the ncis_bigbang, due on September 30th.

Yes, I've lost my mind, thank you for noticing. LOL!

However, there's finally a positive update, so follow the link for more info! :-)

First, ncis_ficathon.

Finished the first draft! :-) I'm not entirely happy with the end result yet, but all I need to do is tweak the fic here and there, and I still have plenty of time for that, so I'm not worried anymore.

And even though I only had to write an even thousand words, look what the word counter said:

Next in line, time-wise, is xf_bigbang.

I'm sad to report that I'm still not inspired, which makes me a little nervous. Time's running out. :-( I'm kind of surprised that my XF Muses seem to have gone on vacation. Dang it! I sure hope I'll be bitten by a plotbunny sooner or later. Preferably sooner. Sigh.

Then we have kink_bigbang.

Nothing written yet, but a definite storyline is already there. I basically just need the time to sit down and write it. LOL! Since it's not a minimum of 20,000 words like the other two bigbang fics, but "only" 12,000 words, I'm hoping I'll be able to write this sucker in one go during a weekend sometime.

So, update on this front:




Last but not least, ncis_bigbang.

I know, I know, I have time till the end of September for this one. So, logically, I started writing this fic as soon as I was done with the ncis_ficathon. Makes sense, no? LOL! Oh well.

I did write most of the first scene of the fic (got the general plot lined up, but need to figure out the details still), and I was a bit disappointed that I hadn't managed more words. I did honestly think I'd be up to 1,500 words or thereabouts already, but alas...



Oh well. I definitely want to finish writing that first crucial Gibbs/Tony scene to set up the rest of the fic, and then I can let the story simmer on the back burner while I tackle the other two fics that are due first. Once I'm inspired to write X Files fic, dammit!!! LOL!
