Finally got bitten by a plotbunny for the xf_bigbang! Thank every deity for that...! *heaves huge sigh of relief*

So, I sat down and started writing. The good thing is, I already got pretty much the entire story figured out. It's a way, waaay old plot idea I had ages ago and had forgotten by now, and suddenly I remembered it again. Yay me! And yay to reversed senility. *g*

Anyway, for those of you interested, it's established Skinner/Mulder. Krycek will be thrown into the mix. *rubs hands together eagerly* It'll be kinky. We have the established Dom/sub relationship, but the fic takes place in a pure Master/slave kind of environment. There'll be several OC's, there might even be teensy bit of het stuff when kinky things happen (none of which will feature our guys though!), and it'll be angsty and full of hurt/comfort and I can't wait to sink my teeth into it!

I need to figure out the details still, but for now it's flowing, and I just finished the "intro scene" with Skinner and Mulder arriving at The Place Where Everything Will Happen, and out of the needed minimum of 20,000 words I've already written...



Which is why I've changed the mood of the little gremlin helper above from throwing his computer to the ground in angry frustration to this. *points* Hee. *g* Because now I need to do something else for a little while before I continue writing. See, my method of writing goes something like this: I mull over a scene and write it in my head, then re-write it and polish it until I'm happy. Right down to detailed descriptions and dialogue and everything. Once I'm happy with the result, I sit down and type the stuff. And it's pretty much a one-to-one copy of what I had already mentally written. Which is why I hardly ever do rewrites once I've typed a fic. Anyway, once a scene is written, I erase that part from my mental hard drive and begin writing the next scene in my head. I mull it over and rewrite it and polish it and add to it until I'm happy, then I sit down and type it. And so on and so forth. So, while I'm busy erasing the mental hard drive, I'll do something else. No TV watching though, that would keep me from mentally writing the next scene. Hmm. There's ironing to be done... *wrinkles nose* LOL!

But yay, already got 7% written of the fic. Took me a little over an hour (to actually type it, of course...took me longer to mentally write it first). With a bit of luck, I get a nice big chunk out of the way over the course of the day. *is pleased with self so far*

Now, in between the writing sessions I got some ironing done, I cooked an elaborate supper, I baked a batch of muffins and I relaxed by playing a round of Sims (finally added Gibbs and Tony to the mix *g*).

So, I'll stop for now, get the rest of my household chores done, and then maybe sit down and write a bit more before it's quality TV time.

I just wish I had started to write yesterday already, I'd be halfway done by now! Sigh. But I had too many other things on my plate yesterday. :-( Oh well, if things continue to flow, and I won't have to work overtime like crazy again (the way I did the last couple of weeks), I might be able to add a couple of pages to the fic every night, and before I know it, I'll have it finished sometime next weekend! :-)

And then all I have to do is cross my fingers that the other two bigbang fics will be just as smooth sailing as this one has been so far!
